Here's the story: 

As per instructed, Tatsumi and Najenda manage to leave Night Raid's base, under the pretence of continuing Tatsumi's training with his Imperial Arm. After some travelling into the southern outskirts of the empire, they eventually find themselves in front of the royal family's country mansion and enter. As they enter, no guards can be seen, nor any sort of booby traps. A door in front of them open to reveal General Esdeath, who greets them in her most etiquette fashion (for Esdeath at least...). Immediately, Esdeath assures them that it will be just them for this occasion (no guards, no  beasts, no assassins, just herself and her guests). Seeing the annoyed confusion in Najenda's expression, Esdeath explains that this is an invitation to diner, where they can discuss in a "civilized matter", on the condition of course that Tatsumi be seated right next to her the whole time. Najenda reluctantly agrees to this "invitation to a diner". What else can she do really? Tatsumi, on the other hand, might have preferred better conditions.

I imagine too much the dinner scene where there is an awkward silence where Najenda and Esdeath face each other and next to each other Tastumi who trembles with embarrassment because of Esdeath next to her who holds her hands (mixed at the same time with romance but also of possession)
