. Monster Girls Series. Damian and Rin Action. Here's the story:
After finding the resolve to overcome the challenge, Damian decides the best way to tame his new partner is through actual battle and performing a "Link". Damian heads to the back into the woods again from the Inn with the near sugar comatosed Rin in arms, search of a opponent. Hours pass with no results, until he comes across a rustling noise in some. He makes his way over to the noise to find a wererabbit feeding in on carrots. Fired up and filled with determination, Damian announces himself to the wererabbit and proceeds to go off on tangents about about how great of a tamer he and how she should fear his " Ultimate Combo". Suddenly, Rin disturbed by all the noise he's making, she awakens and separates herself from his hold. Now standing on her own two feet she looks back at him and then at the wererabbit. Blinded, by his big-headedness Damian takes as a confirmation for her being ready for battle, Damian positions himself in a fighting stance. Psyched out from the situation, Damian in his mind say, "Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! I can win! I feel great! I can do this!". Feeling as he can finally sense is partners intention thus finally successfully establishing "Link" with her, Damian feels as if Rin is ready to make a move. But suddenly, Rin lets out a yawn and starts to stretch out on the ground, still full on the food she ate. Reflexively, Damian snaps out of his fighting stance and face palms. Meanwhile, the wererabbit watches in confuse about the exchange that just took place."
Linking
Linking is a ability exclusive to tamers bestowed upon them by the Goddess Harmonia. This allows tamer and their partner sense each others intent, and in battle allowing them to coordinate their thoughts to pull off combination attacks. But this can only be accomplished if the souls of the tamer and partners is in perfect harmony, and is in hesitation or resistance is put up by either participant, the link will be nullified or establishing one will be impossible.
