Naruto created a Shadow Clone of himself to deal with Sasori while the real one kept Sakura at bay. As they fought, Naruto swore to make Sasori pay for what he did to his friend. Naruto created a Rasenshuriken enhanced by the Nine Tails chakra and hurled it towards Sasori. Despite the strength of his bone body, Sasori realized that the jutsu was too powerful for him to repair himself while keeping up with the damage inflicted. The puppet master became consumed by the attack and his body was destroyed. As his body was destroyed so was his consciousness. Sasori was no more.
