Here's the Story:
With the battle won, Minato enters the tent and finds his wife and student trussed up onto some chairs. Rin is relieved to see Minato, as she had expected as much, while Kushina is also happy to see her husband. Thinking that she'd been tied up and gagged for the longest of times, Minato doesn't think twice before deciding to free Kushina first. Removing the cloth that prevented her from speaking for hours, Minato then proceeds to try and undo her ropes. However, he should've expected what came next, as Kushina immediately criticizes her husband for taking so much time getting here, and also for deciding to untie her first: Rin is just a child and should be the first one freed, that gag is no doubt too tight and preventing her from breathing properly, etc. Rin can only laugh at this, but decides to not get involved, should she face the wrath of her sensei's wife.
